Ajax – Security System – driver Control4

Driver that integrates the native Control4 security panel with an Ajax hub (Hub, Hub Plus, Hub 2 or HubHybrid) through the Ajax cloud. No local connection between Control4 and the hub is needed: the hub just has to be online and registered in the Ajax app.

Once configured, the Ajax alarm shows up in Navigator like any native panel: arm, disarm, night mode, panic, named zones with status and trouble indication. Partitions (“Groups”) and sensors are discovered automatically, and alarms reach Control4 instantly.

Installation

  1. Add the ZoomDH – Ajax Systems Security Hub driver to the project in Composer Pro.
  2. In the Ajax app, under Hub settings → Users, invite ajax@zoomdigitalhome.com.br and enable the Admin permission.
  3. Fill in the Hub ID property with the 8-character Device ID shown in the Ajax app.
  4. Wait a few seconds: zones and partitions are discovered and configured automatically.
  5. Set the code in PIN Code Authentication. Disarming always asks for the code; enable PIN Required to Arm to ask for it when arming too.

Requirements

  • Ajax hub (Hub, Hub Plus, Hub 2 or HubHybrid) installed, online and with the sensors registered in the Ajax app
  • Internet access on site (the integration runs entirely through the cloud)
  • Invitation in the Ajax app for ajax@zoomdigitalhome.com.br with Admin permission
