This driver integrates the Livtronic Miniroom ASW2 and ASW3 preamplifiers with Control4, so the sources and volume of each room can be controlled from the automation.
The module with address 1 acts as the gateway, connected to the controller, and the other modules (addresses 2 to 16) talk to it over the Livtronic RS-485 bus.
Installation
- Set the address of each module with the Power key, with the preamp off (address 1 for the gateway)
- Connect the gateway to the controller over RS-232 serial (9600 baud, 8N1)
- Add the driver to the project and make the serial connection
- Adjust the volume ramp properties and “Command Delay Milliseconds” as needed
